In 2003, he started Tarkenton Financial to focus on financial education and the benefits of fixed annuities and single premium life products.

Chris Barnes

Chris is a native of Philadelphia and a Graduate of East Stroudsburg University where he studied Business Management and Economics. Chris Barnes has been working in the Insurance industry for close to 10 years now. He works with a select group of agents like Jon Stone and Karen to ensure that they and more importantly, their clients have everything they need to be successful. "If my job is done properly, the agent can focus 100% of their time and energy on assisting their clients achieve or maintain the quality of life they want in retirement and beyond."

Brandi Pyles

Brandi has been working in the insurance industry for more than 10 years in agency offices, for the insurance carriers and now at Tarkenton Financial. As a mother of two and a student pursuing her CLU designation, she leads the Product Support team, focusing on income solutions for pre and post retirees. "It's my job to provide Jon Stone and Karen cutting edge news in our industry and product knowledge to assist them in creating the right plan for each individual."

Jennifer Sikes

Jennifer Sikes grew up in Chattanooga, TN and later received a degree in Finance from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. She currently resides in Atlanta, GA, where she is an employee of Tarkenton Financial as an Annuity Sales Director. Her main goal is to help agents like Jon Stone and Karen find annuity products that are best suited to each of their clients needs.

David McGowan

David is originally from Long Island. He joined Tarkenton Financial after completing his MBA at Dowling College in New York. He also has his Bachelors in Finance from SUNY College at Old Westbury. Presently, David's responsibilities are head of contracting and licensing. His primary focus is to ensure agents are contracted with various insurance carriers; enabling Tarkenton agents to represent a well diversified portfolio of annuities and life insurance. "I enjoy working with agents like Jon Stone and Karen who look for the company who best fits their clients needs and if they aren't contracted with the best one, then we work together quickly to get that taken care of."
